Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Finance out of which 4 years of experience as a CFO or Finance Director within the energy sector

The Chief Financial Officer acts as partner to the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Team, assisting the Board and Management Team in the leadership and strategic direction of the organization with an emphasis on finance and treasury matters.

15 + years of Experience in Financial Services ideally with prior experience of working in a regulated financial firm

Our client, a large utilities and renewables company is looking for an FP&A Director to join their team in UAE. You will be responsible for leading the FP&A team divided into three major functions including Planning, Budgeting & Reporting, Business Partnership and Revenue.

Support the CFO in communicating financial strategy issues and recommended changes to senior management and the Board
Support and contribute to the production of the five-year business plan and financial strategy
Develop financial KPIs which will be used to assess the success of both the business and the financial strategy
Produce regular financial reporting to give an overview of business and financial performance.
Highlight trends, key actions, and strategic implications
Ensure that all routine management information is produced in a timely manner

We are headhunting for an Investment Accounting Specialist with a top-tier SWF based in Abu Dhabi. The Investment Accounting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the entity's investment transactions accounting and control activities are extensively controlled through the monitoring and review of the custodian.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
CA or CPA is preferrable
Extensive knowledge of financial & accounting principles, in particular
accounting for all types of investments including private markets, equities, bonds, derivatives and back office operations
Minimum 7 years of experience in investment accounting or control role
Minimum 4 years of experience in dealing with global custodians, private markets & General Partners
Strong communication skills in both Arabic & English

Monitor cash positions & prepare a report for the investment of surplus cash to ensure it is managed to maximize returns in accordance with policies and procedures
Monitor local and international bank account balances
Ensure liquidity for pending capital calls, management & performance fees,
asset-related disbursements and all other liquidity requirements
Monitor the existing portfolio of fixed deposits to ensure that all maturities are planned and reinvested or rolled over in a timely manner
Prepare all necessary documentation for fixed deposits including calculation and accrual of interest receivable
Reconcile the monthly investment accounting reports and journals provided by the custodian, managers and by private market investments
